My very first applique

Did an applique onesie for my dear friends son - its his christening tomorrow. Was pleased how easy it was!! Definitely going to do some more!

One for the little sister

Abbey, my 4.5 year old loves when we can find matching outfits for her and Kennedy who is 4.5 months old. So, she asked if I could make a matching dress for her. She did want EXACTLY the same, but I didn't have enough fabric to do that, so I made her a 'matching opposite' dress which was good enough for her lol. Can't wait to try her in it

And I'm back with the program

With this gorgeous dress I made for Abbey tonight. Got to use my new overlocker too - and have to say I LOVE it! Matching hair ties too of course :D

My first softie!

Phoebe the Elephant!

It is a Melly and Me pattern, a little trick in one or two spots (more lack of experience on my behalf though) but quite fun!

Pillowcase Dress

Thought I would try a pillowcase dress - it is so very similar to the Caroline dress I made already. But it is SO much easier!! Probably took a quarter of the time that it took me to make the other dress. I would have much preferred a material tie as opposed to ribbon but I didn't have any contrasting fabric that matched nicely.

A little gift for a special girl

A friend of mine had a gorgeous baby girl yesterday. Her first daughter would have turned 1 today but she sadly passed away at 3 months old. I wish nothing but happiness and health to baby H and her mummy and daddy.

Look what I found today

And I thought they were done! We have been having some crazy weather lately, lots of rain and quite humid so I was quite pleased. There is nothing sweeter tasting than strawberries picked and eaten straight away - yum!

Name Change

Been thinking today, and I wanted something to reflect me better than the title of my blog I had already.

I don't just enjoy sewing, but a few other crafty bits here and there.

I have always enjoyed craft, and is one of my loves. So, I thought of what else I love and of course the first thing that came to mind was my babies.

So, Three little Bee's it is! Our surname starts with 'B' and there are three of them - common sense really lol.

Pillowcase Bag

I was out opshopping today (one of my fav things to do!) and came across a cute little pillowcase for 60 cents.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, but yesterday Ashton was looking for a little bag to put some of his cars in and he didn't have one so used one of his sisters.

So, even though this material is a little on the girly side, I decided I would make him a bag from the pillowcase.

Above are my efforts. I was proud of myself, just hacked into the material without measuring, ironing (I did wash though lol) and minimal pinning. Made a little bag for him to put over his shoulder and with drawstrings. Not bad for flying blind I guess for a newbie!

Its here!

I ordered Amy Butlers book Little Stitches for Little ones from the Book depository and it arrived today. So many gorgeous things, so little time to sew!!

Finished!

I probably should've gone a size smaller - but at least it'll fit her next year too.

Argh!

I HAVE to go to bed - it's 12.30am and of course I had a late one last night (well 2.00am this morning!) add to that a baby that woke at 5.30am for a feed and I am tired.

BUT, I am sewing my Caroline dress (pattern from Frogs legs and ponytails) and I am so close to being finished I can taste it. But I need slumber!

Will be back onto it in the morning but it won't be as fun with 2 kids and a 10 week old hassling me lol.

I have just signed up to the EB 12 challenges in 12 months too so best get cracking on something to make for me!

Night xxxxx
